NEW for R1200-1250GS/ADV-LC – The Heat Shield for Catalytic Converter is part of a product family designed to reduce the heat felt while riding the motorcycle.
New anti-pollution regulations require increasingly efficient catalytic converters, which unfortunately have a side effect: they produce heat. Heat so high that it can sometimes be uncomfortable.
This particular heat shield, designed and produced by us, is not only made with top-quality materials but has been specifically engineered to reduce the intense heat felt by the rider and especially the passenger. At slower speeds, the heat shield creates a barrier against the natural upward flow of heat, and when in motion, its unique shape allows for the extraction and elimination of heat downwards.
This is all to the benefit of maintaining the operating temperature of the shock absorber and the rear brake pump.
When in motion, the possible combination with the Raid Engine Guard mod. AA.02.02836.001.017 (specifically designed with large front ventilation slots and a rear deflector) enhances and increases air extraction and consequently heat reduction.
Structure: 2 mm Peralluman – stainless steel screws and mounting brackets.
Instructions: clear instructions in Italian with photos. It can be installed without any modifications and without removing other parts of the motorcycle.
